Chris Rivers brings more than two decades worth of knowledge on grassroots basketball to the foreground. He knows better than anyone how to help young athletes build great habits on and off the playing field. Our program was so fortunate to have him share his wisdom with our young team. We are thankful to have him as an extension of our family as we take our program and student athletes to the next level.

Chris is one of the foremost leaders in the basketball ecosystem. His expertise in basketball and words of wisdom for our players were impactful. The real-world experiences that he spoke of were eye opening and hit home. Chris is always welcomed with open arms anywhere Game Elite is present!

Coach Christopher Rivers uses refreshing, entertaining, and vivid anecdotes to connect with his audience. His unique ability to relate to parents and their teenagers simultaneously creates an environment where information sharing, life lessons, crowd participation, and storytelling can coexist for an enjoyable experience for all.

The Canby Basketball team had only a small window of time to listen to Mr. Rivers. During that time, Mr. Rivers immediately grabbed the attention of each athlete. His message to our student athletes was strong, meaningful, and impactful. His influence was so positive that I have asked him to come speak to a larger FCA audience this spring.

When I first met Rivers his knowledge and passion for basketball resonated with me. Until the more I listened, the more I realized he was giving me life lessons that I have used as a baseline for my personal growth and my family’s growth. He speaks nothing but truth and sometimes it’s in the form of a joke, sometimes direct but it always with the intent to provide insight and from a place of love.

Coach Rivers came and spoke to my program about the importance of accepting your role and outside influences. He shared his life experiences which were very insightful to my team and helped them understand everyone has an important role in achieving success as well as being responsible and mindful of how social media can help or hurt them. It was an honor having Coach Rivers speak to my program.
